Pay: $4,500-$6,500 a Month

Grassroots Campaigns is hiring passionate and motivated people to join our leadership teams in Philadelphia and Colorado for the 2022 election cycle! The teams will be working on voter registration and voter turn out to elect progressive candidates. For over a decade Grassroots Campaigns has been on the front lines of progressive change. We design and run ground-breaking outreach campaigns and work with the top national progressive political groups and nonprofits.

Functions of the Job

  • Recruitment: Build a team of canvassers by recruiting from within the local community. Interview prospective staff and make hiring decisions.
  • Staff Management: Teach canvassing skills. Work with your staff in individual and group settings, with a particular eye towards developing leaders. Cultivate a welcoming and motivating atmosphere.
  • Canvassing: Canvass in the field to train new and experienced staff
  • Administration/Legal: Manage office budget, payroll, performance, logistics. Work with HR/Legal to ensure compliance.


  • Strong communication and motivational skills, work ethic, and a desire for political change are essential.
  • Candidates must be able to work within a team, have proven leadership skill, and the ability to handle a lot of responsibility.
  • Strong self-direction and the ability to take initiative are also necessary qualifications.
  • Geographically flexible to go where you are most needed.
  • Previous field or canvassing experience is a plus.
